Thoroughbred Breeders Australia (TBA) is proud to offer a series of fully funded Management Skills Workshops designed specifically for supervisors, middle managers, and future leaders in the thoroughbred breeding industry.
Delivered by experienced leadership coach Juliet Robinson of Big Goals, these two-day sessions provide practical training to help farm-based team leaders improve their communication, leadership, and team management skills. Since launching in 2022, the program has supported over 200 participants across the country.
Key outcomes for participants include:
- Increased self-awareness of leadership and communication styles
- Tools for managing teams with confidence
- Strategies to handle pressure and difficult conversations
- Techniques for motivating and influencing others
- Each attendee receives a personalised behavioural profile to support learning during and after the workshop.
The workshops consistently receive over 90% approval ratings and are tailored to reflect the real-world challenges of managing people in a hands-on environment.
TBA also offers invitation-only workshops for senior managers. These advanced sessions provide strategic guidance and peer-to-peer learning for more experienced leaders.
