Stud Start provides an opportunity for people considering a career change to learn more about pathways into the thoroughbred breeding industry.
The introductory program is designed to give prospective new entrants a better understanding of the skills, knowledge and career opportunities available across the sector, including practical horse handling, online learning, classroom teaching, farm visits and insights from industry speakers.
Prospective participants are invited to register their interest in Stud Start by Friday 29 June for a future intake of the program.
Expressions of interest will help inform planning for the next intake, including timing, location and program delivery.
The aim of Stud Start is to help people take the first step towards a career in the thoroughbred industry, while building stronger connections between new entrants and potential employers.
