 7. Star racemares to go under the hammer

Some of the country’s hottest racemares will go under the hammer at next week’s Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast.


Top class Group One winners and proven producers flood the mare’s section of the sale. The sale will also include a number of quality weanlings, yearlings and a classy stallion prospect.
Racemares to the calibre of La Bella Dama, Crystal Palace, Stapleton Lass, Love to Dance, Fair Embrace, Ateates, Suzy Grey, Patterns, Gold Lottey, Procrastinate, Russian Caravan and Presumed Innocent are all catalogued for sale in the National Broodmare Sale.

ATEATES – Four time Group Two winning daughter of Zeditave. Won G2s in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. She is a sister to the Group One Newmarket Handicap winner Ruffles. Served by Carnegie.

CRIXIA – Group placed former speed sensation. A daughter of Danzero who’s served by Galileo in her first season at stud.

CRYSTAL PALACE – Group One Oaks winning full sister to the champion and proven international performer Naturalism. Served by Fantastic Light.

DE LOLLIES – Stakes winning Dehere two-year-old. Yet to go to stud.

DOLCE VELOCE – Group Three winning Integra mare from a stakes filled international pedigree. Served by Spinning World in her first season at stud.

FAIR EMBRACE – Proven Group Two winning Strategic mare. She is a grand daughter of the multiple Group One winning mare Cendrillon. Yet to go to stud. She is also Group One placed.

GOLD LOTTEY – Group Three winner and Group One placed Encosta de Lago mare. Yet to go to stud.

HANKY PANKY – Sensationally bred Anabaa Group placed mare. Served by Fusaichi Pegasus in first season at stud.

KISS N’ A SHILLING – Stakes winning Crested Wave mare served by hot Victorian sire Encosta de Lago.

LA BELLA DAMA – Brilliant Group One winning Desert Sun mare. Served by champion galloper and exciting young stallion Giant’s Causeway in first season at stud.

LADY CHIVERO – Stakes performed city winning half sister to Group One star Count Chivas. Served by hot sire Flying Spur.

LILTING – Stakes winning and Group Two producing Twig Moss mare served by former champion Redoute’s Choice.

LOVE TO DANCE – Group One winning Citidancer mare served by Giant’s Causeway.

MAGALING – Group Three performed half sister to G1 star Royal Tiara served by Fusaichi Pegasus.

MINERVA – Melbourne stakes winning Military Plume mare served by Anabaa in second season at stud.

MONA LISSA – Melbourne stakes winning Rory’s Jester mare, already a proven stakes producer, served by Encosta de Lago.

PATTERNS – Spring carnival Group Three winning Success Express mare served by Flying Spur in first season at stud.

PERMAI – Stakes winning Rory’s Jester mare served by Danehill’s Golden Slipper winning son Danzero.

PRESUMED INNOCENT – Stakes winning Danehill mare served by Giant’s Causeway in first season at stud.

PROCRASTINATE – Group Three winning Jade Hunter mare served by Galileo. Mare a proven Group One producer.

REGAL SEA – Group Three winning and twice Group One Oaks placed Dahar mare served by Gilded Time.

RUSSIAN CARAVAN – Multiple stakes winning Dehere mare being sold as a racing and breeding proposition.

SETTLERS COVE – Stakes winning Luskin Star mare, a proven Group producer, served by Carnegie.

STAPLETON LASS – Group One Oaks winning Little Brown Jug mare served by Greenlander.

SUZY GREY – Proven Group Two winning County mare being sold as a racing and breeding proposition.

ZEXZABEEL – Multiple Group Two performed daughter of the champion kiwi sire Zabeel. Closely related to the G1 winner Fair Sir. Served by Danzero.
