 21. Is He Danehills Best Sire Son?

18/6/2003

Danehill Dancer must surely be rated in the top bracket of international sires after his Australian three-year-old Choisir took Royal Ascot by storm on June 17.

The once under-rtaed stallion also clearly deserves the title of
Danehill’s best sire son after Choisir’s brilliant and historic win by Choisir in the G2 King’s Stand Stakes provided him with his sixth winner in six days in six different countries.

On June 7 another Danehill Dancer product Private Steer won the G1
Stradbroke Handicap in Brisbane while his spreading influence saw him represented by no less than seven runners in Group races on the opening day of the Royal Ascot festival.

And while Choisir was doing it for Danehill Dancer at Ascot he had another UK winner on the same day when Freya’s Dream recorded her fifth win.

Apart from Choisir and Freya’s Dream, Danehill Dancer also had his 3YO filly Magic Hill win in France and the 4YO Ariello win in Germany on June 15. Back in Australia his 3YO Dynamic Dancing won at Doomben on June 14 on the same day he had a 2YO winner Sadann in Ireland.

And on June 11 Bocca Da Fuoco added to his European scorecard with a win in Italy.
Some week!
