Millions Sale Continues in Strong Fashion

The
post Conrad Jupiters Magic Millions raceday selling session commencing at 6pm,
once again drew record crowds to the Magic Millions Sales Complex. Spirited
bidding saw the highest price attained for this session reach $900,000 for an
outstanding son of SUNDAY SILENCE.
Purchased by American based Mr Tommy Simons, famous for his association as owner
of the leading Hunter Valley stud VINERY, this colt is out the American bred
mare ENGRAVER, herself a half-sister to PERSONAL BUSINESS (Saratoga John A
Morris H Gr.1), and was offered for sale by Strawberry Hill Stud, Mt White, NSW.
Danehill continued to stamp his authority on the Breeding World with two colts
and a filly by him selling each for over $300,000.
Lot 460 Colt by DANEHILL out of EYES OF BELIEF was purchased by Kentucky based
Marie Debeusscher of Asian Bloodstock Services Ltd for $400,000, on behalf of
Japan based clients. This colt was offered for sale by Coolmore Stud, Jerry's
Plains, NSW. This colt is bred from Sadler's Wells mare EYES OF BELIEF a sister
to INSIGHT (Woodbine EP Taylor Stakes Gr.1), SAFFRON WALDEN (Irish Two Thousand
Guineas Gr.1), and a blood-sister to SEQUOYAH (Curragh Moyglare Stud Stakes
Gr.1)
Lot 545 Colt by DANEHILL out of ISCA, purchased by Victorian based Denis Roberts
Bloodstock for $350,000. Offered for sale by Collingrove Stud, Hunter Valley,
NSW. Dam of this colt ISCA (1999 Champion Australian Sprinter; Top of the
1998-1999 Australasian 3YO Classification).
Lot 445 Filly by DANEHILL out of DOSTHILL, purchased for $310,000 by Ramsey
Pastoral Company, NSW. Offered for sale by Coolmore Stud, Hunter Valley, NSW.
Filly bred from the outstanding European family of DOYOUN, DALSAAN, DAFAYNA,
DOLPOUR, etc.
