A colt from the quality draft of Collingrove Stud sure to arouse the interest of leading buyers during the second session of the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale is a son of the Rainbow Quest’s former Group One winning son Spectrum.

Catalogued as lot number 123, the colt by Spectrum is from the former talented Guineas winner Cult Figure and is a member of one of the country’s and indeed world’s best families.

Cult Figure, a daughter of Ahonoora, won two city races during a short career in which she proved herself with placings or wins in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

She is out of the stakes winning juvenile mare Idol Worpship, a Godswalk mare who is a daughter of the Group performer River Dane.

The family takes in the talented performers Schubert, Livelihood, Happy Giggle, Living Spirit, Pure of Heart, Lion Hunter, Field Hand, Prego and plenty of other classy gallopers.

Spectrum, a sire of the champion international performer Golan and local Group One winners Barkada and Spectatorial, scored his best win in the Group One Champion Stakes at Newmarket.

The colt will be sold during the second session of the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale at Morphettville on February 20.
