After a bumpy flight from Perth, Fred Kersley's Northerly has arrived safely in Melbourne.
Northerly worked this morning at Caulfield in preparation for the CF ORR Stakes (1400m) on Saturday.

The six year-old gelding, despite having won 14 Group races, will have his work cut-out on the weekend as he runs against Brian Mayfield-Smith's Innovation Girl.

The last start winning filly will carry only 52kgs under the weight for age conditions with Northerly to carry 58kgs.
