Collingrove
Stud has the distinction of offering the only yearling by the great Danehill in
next week's Melbourne Premier Sale at Oaklands Junction.
The filly is out of Chorus, an Alleged half sister to three stakeswinners
including successful sire Woodborough.
The Collingrove draft at the three-day Premier Sale on February 10, 11 and 13
will also feature yearlings by Red Ransom, Grand Lodge, Stravisnjky, Perugino,
Favorite Trick, Spectrum, Bianconi and Danehill Dancer.
The draft includes a brother to G2 winner My Sienna; a half brother to G2 winner
Requiem; half sisters to G1 winners Rustic Dream and Pride Of Rancho; a colt
from the G2 winner Vonanne; a filly from a half sister to Better Loosen Up and
progeny from stakes performers Kilspindie, Oaks Dream, Walk The Wild Side and
Monroeville.
US Horse of the Year Favorite Trick produced his second US stakeswinner when his
son Hypnotist won the Feldman Stakes on turf at Gulfstream Park.
Favorite Trick has now sired 14 first crop winners in the US, including his two
stakeswinners and three multiple stakes placegetters, from 32 runners .
The son of Phone Trick is now 13th on the US freshman sires list with a fine 16
percent of his runners being stakes horses.,
Favourite Trick, who had 13 of his first Australian yearlings sell for up to
$80,000 at the Gold Coast Magic Millions, has 13 lots in the Premier Sale and
another six on offer at the Adelaide Magic Millions.
They include fillies form half sisters to VRC Oaks winner Weekend Delight and
Marwell Lady and a colt from a sister to G1 winner Notoire.
