 21. Danehill's Son Makes Positive Start at Stud

06/09/2002

Danehill’s most precocious son Honours List has a book of in excess of 120 mares for the 2002 season and has commenced the season firing on all cylinders.

“Honours List is relishing his new role and is showing the same
professionalism in the covering shed as his sire Danehill,“ Paul Higgins from Baerami Thoroughbreds said.

Honours List has been a resident at Baerami since December when he was retired from the Aiden O’Brien stable at the end of his two year old career due to a knee injury.

Mares covered to date by Honours List include;
Midnight Cruise – stakes winner and dam of the fastest horse at last years breeze up sale
Discreet Lady - metropolitan winner at 2 and placed in two Golden Slipper lead ups and the Magic Millions.

La Moulin - stakes placed metropolitan winner.
Miss Doopsy - metropolitan winner and fourth in the Wiggle stakes.
Wham Bam - metropolitan winner and second in the McDougall stakes.
Volante Marie - by Flying Spur from top class racemare Love Of Mary.
Myrrh - by Nassipour from top class race mare San Pauli Girl.

While Honours List’s first fertility results will not be available for another week or so all indications point to a successful stud career.
