Unbeaten
Japanese filly Fine Motion has given the great Danehill his 47th individual
Group One winner.
The royally bred three-year-old Fine Motion recorded a runaway win in the G1
Shuka Sho on October 13, taking her record to five wins from five starts,
including four since August.
Fine Motion, bred in Ireland, is a three-quarter sister to multiple Group One
winner Pilsudski and a half sister to Group winner Glowing Ardour. Another half
relation is the stakes winning filly Peach Out Of Reach.
Her dam Cocotte has a yearling sister to Fine Motion and a filly foal by
champion sire Sadler's Wells. She is now in foal again to Sadler’s Wells.
Fine Motion was bred by Barronstown Stud, the nursery that has been responisble
for mahy top class winners in recent years including the classic and G1 winners
Generous, Imagine, Lavery, Shahtoush, Matiya, Wind In Her Hair and Only Royal.
Danehill, now permanently domiciled in Ireland, again underline the void his
withdrawal from service in Australia will leave in future seasons by siring
eight individual winners in five countries last weekend, including his unbeaten
two-year-old son Eagle Rise in the G3 Preis der Winterfavoriten in Germany.
Danehill has produced 21 individual northern hemisphere juvenile winners so far
this year.
