Watagan Wood Stud will offer a half-brother to smart juvenile winner Handsome Colours this Friday at the Australian Select Weanling Sale. The Gai Waterhouse trained Handsome Colours scored by four lengths at Randwick on Anzac Day and his half-brother by Honour and Glory (USA) will benefit greatly from this timely update.

A sparkling return to form by tidy filly Palidamah at Doomben on Saturday, will ensure more than a second glance for her half-brother by Sir Laurence (Lot 144), offered by Sledmere Stud.

Vinery Australia as agent will offer Lot 51, a bay filly by End Sweep (USA) from the beautifully bred mare Garden Flower (USA), a half-sister to Noble Lily, the dam of Simeon, who scored his first Black Type win in England at the weekend. Simeon, a three year old colt by Lammtarra, has put together a sequence of five consecutive wins, culminating in a stylish victory in the Sandown Classic Trial Gr 3.
