2002 Sires' Produce Yearling Sale…CATALOGUES OUT NOW

This year's Sires' Produce Sale features an intriguing catalogue of 216 quality yearlings, with some 90 stallions represented including Danehill Dancer (IRE), Danzero, Flying Spur, Fuji Kiseki (Jap), General Nediym, Gilded Time (USA), Grand Lodge (USA), Last Tycoon (IRE), Lion Hunter, Marauding (NZ), Peintre Celebre (USA), Red Ransom (USA), Rory's Jester, Secret Savings (USA), Snippets, Spectrum (IRE), Strategic, Thunder Gulch (USA) and Woodman (USA), etc.


Collingrove Stud provided the saletopper at Sires' Produce last year and have another quality draft for buyers to inspect this time around, including a half-brother to stakes-winner Liberty Rose, by Red Ransom (USA) from Cherry Garden (Lot 195); a Bubble Gum Fellow (Jap) colt (Lot 154) from good producer Trek (IRE), dam of smart gallopers Tembo Tembea, Neptune's Journey and Matabele Queen; and a grey filly by Octagonal from former smart filly Primrose Penny (Lot 91), a sister to Group One winning sprinter Notoire.


One youngster sure to attract his share of attention is (Lot 174) a Super Vobis qualified colt by Danehill's young sire son West Point, from the grand producer All Sold. Offered by Lark Hill as agent, the colt is a half-brother to multiple Group One winner All Our Mob, winner of $2.6 million, VATC 1000 Guineas Gr 1 winner All Time High and Group Two winning speedster All Archie.


Others to impress on pedigree include: a half-brother by Desert Sun (GB), to Group One winning sprinter and successful sire Keltrice, from Vain Display (Lot 159); a Woodman (USA) colt (Lot 57) from the very fast mare Miss Kariba, winner of nine races including the STC Canterbury Stakes Gr 2; a half-brother to stakes-winner Noble Challenge, by Danewin from Sweet Way (Lot 142); a half-sister to stakes-winner Stay Tuned, by End Sweep (USA) from Slightly Sharp (USA) (Lot 124); a chestnut colt by Generous (IRE), first foal of Avondale Gold Cup Gr 1 winner Silky Oak (Lot 122); a half-brother to stakes-winner Cockade, by Thunder Gulch (USA) from Glory Days (Lot 10); a Snippets filly, from the smart stakes-winner Diversify (Lot 211); and a Marauding colt from the West Australian Group 2 winner Surfside Lady (Lot 138), dam of five winners including the stakes-winner Summer Silence.
