Segenhoe Stud will be breaking out the champagne following the breathtaking win of outstanding three year old colt PALACE LINE in the Singapore Classic at Kranji on the weekend. He was the champion two year old in South Africa last season before transferring to Singapore, and could hardly have been more impressive in defeating a hot field of international rivals.

Segenhoe Stud will offer a half-brother to Palace Line (Lot 294) by the well regarded first season sire Gilded Time (USA), a proven performer in North America where he has sired more than 25 stakes-winners.

Former champion two year old, Burst, produced a winner in South Africa at the weekend. Her daughter BURST TWO (1999 Easter $250,000) scored her first win, following several minor placings. Coolmore Australia as agent will offer a filly by Peintre Celebre (USA) from Burst (Lot 63) at Easter this year.

Exciting prospect ABLE CHOICE scored an impressive debut win in the Griffins race at Sha Tin on the weekend, giving his illustrious dam Lady Jakeo, the perfect record of four raced, all winners. Vinery Australia as agent will offer a half-sister to Able Choice (Lot 262) by first season sire Polish Navy (USA), a son of Danzig and sire of Kentucky Derby winner Sea Hero.

Talented filly CIRQUE DU SOLEIL (2001 Easter PI$425,000) gained her first taste of Black Type when placed in the VRC Waltzing Lily Quality L last Wednesday. Coolmore Australia as agent, will offer her full brother (Lot 352) at Easter.

Tiger Holland has a smart youngster on his hands with ATHELNOTH (2000 Australian Select Weanling $5,000), who registered his second win at Warwick Farm yesterday. Middlebrook Valley Lodge will offer a half-sister to Athelnoth (Lot 201) at the Sires' Produce Yearling Sale by Bite the Bullet (USA).
