 6. First Winner For Inflate

03/06/2002

Superbly bred young stallion Inflate had his first winner last Friday at Canberra from his first crop.

INFLATE
Cleverly named Inflation, the robust 2-year-old went straight to the front and was never headed. It was his first start and its breeder Les Young holds the view that this gelding has an extremely promising future.

Trainer Barbara Joseph says that Inflation has always shown plenty but had severe shin soreness which delayed his racing program. She said he is a very strong and tough 2-year-old.

Standing at Kooringal Stud, Wagga, Inflate has had 5 individual starters with Inflation and Emerald Park the most promising so far.

Inflate is by the phenomenal sire of sires - Forty Niner (Mr. Prospector). He lacks nothing on the dam side being from the family of Sadler's Wells, Nureyev, Jade Robbery and Fairy King.
