 44. Inglis Purchase Perth Insurance Company

17/06/2002

William Inglis & Son Limited has announced it’s purchase of Perth based Brooks Goodwood Insurance Services with effect from 28 June 2002.

The business will remain substantially the same, except that the name will change to Brooks Inglis Insurance Brokers. The Perth office will remain at 8 Carbine Street, Ascot and the present staff (in particular Beryl Brooks and Nicole Ward) will continue to provide the excellent, personal service that clients have come to expect, backed by reputable, financially sound, specialist bloodstock insurers.

Beryl Brooks, who has been associated with the business from inception nearly a decade ago said, "I am delighted to be joining William Inglis & Son Limited, an established and well respected company with offices in Sydney and Melbourne. The company already operates an ever expanding and successful bloodstock insurance division from Randwick and the consolidation of our two specialist offices will be to our clients immediate benefit. I look to the future with excitement and optimism."

Reg Inglis, Managing Director of William Inglis & Son Limited expressed similar sentiments, "Beryl comes with a wealth of experience in bloodstock insurance and a highly esteemed reputation in the market. I am thrilled to have her and Nicole join our bloodstock insurance team. This acquisition gives our company representation on both the East and West coasts and follows our commitment to service the bloodstock industry."
