A much-improved catalogue saw the one-day Magic Millions Winter Carnival Yearling sale conclude today with a 42% increase in aggregate. 117 yearlings sold with a gross aggregate of $1,807,250 at an average of $15,447. While the clearance rate improved over last year it was still a slightly disappointing 70%. Last years Winter Carnival yearling sale saw 105 lots sold for a gross aggregate of $1,269,500 at an average of $12,090 and a clearance rate of 60%. |
