Record prices for a William Inglis & Son Sydney winter sale are predictable when the 2002 version is staged at their Newmarket Sales centre this coming Friday, July 19. The quality of this year's sale has been boosted by the appearance of 23 females on account of Philippine owned elite Mudgee district located Gooree Stud.

Three of these females are broodmares by Danehill and are being offered in foal to prestige sires. These mares are Endless Wonder (to have an August foal by Kentucky Derby winner Real Quiet), Glint of Gold (served by Hurricane Sky on October 25) and Sandy's Hill (to foal to Octagonal in September).

The Gooree Stud consignment also includes two daughters of boom shuttle sire Dehere, one of them in foal to Snippets and the other to Octagonal, and others by Bluebird, Barathea, Last Tycoon, Mukaddamah, Charnwood Forest, His Majesty and Yeats, to mention some of them. They are in a catalogue of 282 lots including over 150 females two and over, 56 yearlings, 22 weanlings and 48 males of racing age.
