6. 2001 Stallion Tender Scheme 03/07/2001

Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria is pleased to announce the 2001 Stallion Tender Scheme. There is an excellent selection of 62 Victorian based sires on offer - so let the bidding begin! The scheme runs on a tender system, where the highest sum nominated for a stallion service is the successful applicant.

This years stallion list includes El Moxie, sire of Group 1 Caulfield Guineas winner Alfa, and El Mirada; Dieu D'or, sire of Gold Ace, Curator Storm and Voile D'or; Picknicker, sire of Intelligent Star who has recently won 7 out of 13 starts, and placed a futher 6 times; and Al Hareb, the sire of Hareeba, winner of the Group 1 MVRC Australia Stakes. The recent Group 1 Sydney Cup winner Mr Prudent is represented by his sire Phizam who stands at Benalla Park Stud; and the winner of the Listed Veuve Cliquot Stakes, and second in the Group 1 S.A Derby, Bush Padre is represented by his VRC Derby winning dad, Redding. First season sires such as Esperero, Damascus Staom, Super Jet and Rory's Power There is something for everyone! The TBV Stallion Tender Scheme will be available in July's Inside Breeding.
