Leading Hong Kong owner Apollo Ng has continued his assocation with the famous Twiglet family when he purchased the Twig Moss's colt by Octagonal during the final session of the Australian Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney this afternoon.

Ng, like all Hong Kong face followers love Fairy King Prawn. And why wouldn't they! The son of Danehill is been the Hong Kong Horse of the Year twice and he has been a three time champion sprinter and miler in that same country.

"You can say we are a big fan of the family," Ng said with a smile. "I remember seeing Twiglet win the Furious Stakes in great style. And our group also bought Easy Rocking and Fairy King Prawn," he added.

Offered by Willow Park Stud acting as agent for Catherine Remond, the colt is the third purchase at the sale for Apollo Ng.

"I've bought three under my own name and our group altogether have picked up thirteen," Ng added.

"He really is a lovely type as well," Ng reported. "He's well balanced and a beautifully conformed individual."

The colt will be trained by Hong Kong trainer Ricky Yui.

"He is a lovely type and I'm exciting about being able to train him," Yui, who is the trainer of Jeune King Prawn said.
