Membership is essential for anyone who is interested in breeding thoroughbreds and in keeping up to date with all that is happening in the industry both domestically and internationally. You will be joining 2,500 like- minded people around Australia in supporting, promoting and protecting our industry.

Representation on behalf of all Australian breeders is not the only vital role the TBA and state associations play. Each state association provides all their members with regular telephone support on industry related issues and the distribution of newsletters, brochures, flyers, statistics on sales, sires foaling numbers, mare populations, international news, contacts, various types of research material and a free copy of the annual Stallions directory (valued at $80). The TBA and the state associations provide recognition to successful breeders for their contribution and excellence to the industry by hosting annual awards nights and presentations. 
 
Depending on which state association you choose to join, all state associations provide a host of other benefits to their members.
