 Star Kingdom  by Stardust   from Impromptu

is an influence of huge proportions in the pedigrees of the majority of Australian Black type winners (a special report follows)

 

 

 Sir Ivor  by Sir Gaylord   from Attica

has been an influence in Australia on both the Sire and distaff side. He appears in the pedigrees of Desert Prince, Desert Sun,   Encosta De Lago, Encounter, Filante, Flying Spur, Lake Coniston, Nothin' Like A Dane, Octagonal, Principality, Victory Prince, Xarr, etc.

 

 

 Danzig  by Northern Dancer   from Pas De Nom 

is the emerging force and his name is featured in the pedigrees of Anabaa, Belong To me, Catbird, Danehill, Danewin, Danzero, Desert King, Desert Prince, Langfuhr, Perugino, Redoubtes Choice, etc.

 


  

 Star Kingdom 1946

This wonderful chestnut stallion, born on the 30th of April 1946 in Ireland, remains the most influential sireline in Australia. He raced 16 times for 9 wins which included the York Gimcrack Stakes, the Sandown Stud Produce Stakes, the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Chester Coronation Stakes.

 

He stood at Baramul Stud in the Widden Valley for 16 successive seasons and produced a dynasty which is unlikely to be ever equalled again.

 

At stud, Star Kingdom was Champion Australian Sire five times and Champion Juvenile Sire on six occasions. He had 344 to race for 259 winners. He was Champion Broodmare Sire on 3 occassions.
